Create a Sprint

You can create a sprint from the Release Detail page for a specific release.

Follow these steps:

1. Open the Releases list page.
2. Select the release and click View.

   The Release Detail page appears.

3. In the Sprints section, click New Sprint.

   The Sprint Edit page appears.

4. Complete the appropriate fields. The following fields need explanation:

   Start Date

   Specifies the starting date for the sprint. The sprint start and end dates must fall within the release start and end dates.

   Required: Yes

   Format: m/d/yy

   End Date

   Specifies the ending date for the sprint. The sprint start and end dates must fall within the release start and end dates.

   Required: Yes

   Format: m/d/yy

   Retrospective

   Specifies any information you want recorded from the sprint retrospective.

5. Click Save.

   The Sprint Backlog & Charts page appears.
