Disable Redirection

Affected Systems:

Microsoft redesigned the way in which Exchange Server manages traffic. The following ws_rep.cfg file property is used to control network traffic redirection on these Exchange systems.

When set to True, disables DNS redirection and skips SPN redirection in the event a switchover occurs. Switchover itself occurs as expected.

When set to False, the Exchange Management Console on the new active server is not started after switchover.

When set to True, the Redirect DNS property is hidden in the Network Traffic Redirection group on the CA ARCserve RHA Manager screen.

Set this value to True for Exchange Server 2010 HA scenarios.
