CA ARCserve D2D On Demand provides three individual license bundles that can be obtained: WorkStation, Small Business Server, and Server. As a new machine is assigned an individual license bundle, there are corresponding CA ARCserve D2D On Demand components that are enabled/disabled depending upon the type of license bundle applied. CA ARCserve D2D On Demand will check your machine’s operating system, and then decide which individual license bundle to apply.
Licenses are assigned to a server automatically when needed, on a first-come basis. However, you can use the ARCserve On Demand Portal (accessed from the home page) to manage and monitor license use. From this portal, you can manually disable/remove a license from a selected server.
The following table provides a correlated listing between the individual license components and the corresponding license bundle.
