Reason:
This message occurred for any of the following reasons:
- The CA ARCserve Universal Agent service is not running or functioning.
- The CA ARCserve Backup Agent for Oracle is not installed.
- Oracle Agent Configuration is not configured properly.
Action:
Perform the following steps:
- Restart the CA ARCserve Universal Agent service.
- Install the CA ARCserve Backup Agent for Oracle.
- Launch Oracle Agent Configuration utility.
- From the Windows Start menu, select Programs (or All Programs).
- Select CA, and CA ARCserve Backup Oracle Agent Configuration to configure properly.
