access control list
An access control list (ACL) is a list of access control entries (ACE). Each ACE in an ACL identifies a trustee and specifies the access rights allowed, denied, or audited for that trustee.
activity log
An activity log is a log file that displays information about all the jobs that the client agent processes.
client agents
The client agents are separate software packages installed on network computers to supply a network interface between the computer and CA ARCserve Backup. In addition to enabling connectivity, the client agents share data storage tasks with the backup servers in your network.
