Backup Job or Restore Job Causes the Library to Inventory Slots

Valid on Windows platforms.

Symptom:

A backup or restore job causes the library to automatically inventory slots after adding media to devices manually.

Solution:

After CA ARCserve Backup prompts you to manually insert additional media to complete a backup or restore job, it automatically inventories the media in the particular backup or restore group. After the inventory of the group is completed, the job continues.
