CA ARCserve Backup prompts the user for a default user name and password when it submits a job that includes remote Windows database servers. CA ARCserve Backup accesses the remote servers using this user name and password.

You also need a remote Sybase Adaptive Server user ID and password to access the remote database server. When prompted by the system, enter the Sybase Adaptive Server user ID sa (System Administrator) and the corresponding password, or an ID and password with equivalent privileges.
