The reports generated by the CA ARCserve Backup Report Manager and CA ARCserve Replication complement each other and provide you with a variety of reports based on the activity stored in the CA ARCserve Backup database. You can preview a report, print to a printer or file, and schedule when to generate a report. CA ARCserve Backup provides several standard reports that display general backup and restore activity and also lets you to create custom reports to meet your specific needs. You can use a report filter to select the backup media you want to include in the report.
For example, you can configure CA ARCserve Backup to automatically create and email a report for any failed backup jobs, or you can create a customized report that is generated to specifically target backup jobs that are initiated by Assured Recovery.
