Symptom:

How do I perform a CA ARCserve Backup GUI restore operation to restore the Oracle data files in a different directory?

Solution:

You cannot do this. Although it is possible to restore a database to a different node, the whole directory structure where the database will be restored must be identical to the one on the source node.
