This engine manages all the CA ARCserve Backup user accounts (for example, caroot). It allows all CA ARCserve Backup Manager or command line components to check for access to CA ARCserve Backup.
You can use this engine to create or delete user accounts, change passwords, and manage equivalences.
If this engine is not running, CA ARCserve Backup is disabled.
