The CA ARCserve Replication operation timed out for scenario <name=[scenario name], id=[scenario id]>.

Reason:

The CA ARCserve Replication operation cannot be completed within the time interval specified. The default timeout value is three minutes.

Action:

To address this message, perform the following tasks:

• Check the Master and Replica servers to verify that the CA ARCserve Replication engine service is running.
• Check the CA ARCserve Replication Manager to verify that the scenario is running and check the CA ARCserve Replication events log for any errors related to the scenario.
• Increase the timeout value by accessing the CA ARCserve Backup Client Agent registry tree and specifying the WANSyncTimeout DWORD to a value greater than 180 seconds, as follows:
