Reason:

CA ARCserve Backup displays this error message for the following reasons:

• During the processing of the job, the client agent experienced an unrecoverable critical error.
• The job could not be completed and has been reported as failed.

Action:

Perform the following steps:

• If other applications experience similar problems, check the state of your operating system.
• As the client agent isolates the error to the running job, concurrent or new jobs may not be affected. Repeat the same job.
• If the same error occurs, check the state of the operating system, especially for low memory.
