Failed to connect to NDMP server <Server Name> for restore. (ret <Error Code>)

Reason:

CA ARCserve Backup is unable to connect to the NAS filer to trigger the backup operation.

Action:

Perform the following steps:

• Check the user name and password.
• Confirm that the NDMP is enabled on the NAS filer.
• Confirm that you can enumerate the volumes of the NAS filer.
