An error occurred when connecting to a tape during a spanning operation.

Action:

To address this error, perform the following:

• Scan the tape for media errors.
• Stop the tape engine service, reboot the library and restart the tape engine service.
• Take the output return code and look it up in the Tape Engine Error Messages section for more information.
