MUX: Session = <Session No> failed while trying to continue after SPAN. error = <Error Code>.

Reason:

Under Span conditions, when the backup session selects a blank media, it formats the new media, flushes MUX metadata in the beginning of the media, writes any Read data from the previous tape, and continues the backup. This error message indicates that this job failed during this process because of a media error or tape drive error or because of an internal CA ARCserve Backup error.

Action:

Ensure that the Activity log and Tape log are available.
