Reason:

The multiplexing subjob indicated in the message started, but failed to provide the first byte of data to the Tape Engine before the timeout period elapsed. This job has failed, but other subjobs related to the master job may still finish successfully. The job may have timed out because the network connection is down, or because of a problem with the agent, or because an internal CA ARCserve Backup error has occurred.

Action:

To address this error message, perform the following:

• Ensure that your network connection is up-and-running.
• Run a makeup job to back up any failed agents.
• Check the Activity Log and the agent log for more information.
• Ensure that the Activity Log, JobQueue.log, and agent logs are available.
