Reason:

There are too many RMAN agents selected, so the required streams exceed the streams that the target group can provided, thereby some of the instances will have no available device to assign to.

Action:

  1. If it is a staging job, open the staging group configuration dialog and increase the max stream number .
  2. If it is a non-staging job, then add more available devices to the target group.
  3. Open the RAMN agent local option dialog, and reduce the "Number of channels".
