Reason:

You did not provide a session password for the encrypted session. CA ARCserve Backup was trying to get the session password from the CA ARCserve Backup Database, but it failed to do so. It may be because either the Database Engine is not started or it failed to do initialization, or the session password for the session was not managed by CA ARCserve Backup.

Action:

• Check the Database Engine service status in the Server Admin Manager. If it is not running, start it.
• Check the activity log and see if there is an error message that indicates that the Database Engine failed to do intialization. If that is the case, check the help for that error message for further instructions. If your session password was not managed by CA ARCserve Backup, input the correct session password when submitting the job.
