Reason:
This could be because of the following reasons:
- If a time out is specified for this error message, the job may have failed because CA ARCserve Backup could not write to the selected media.
- If a time out is not specified, this error message can indicate a number of conditions.
Action:
The following will help you to address this message:
- For repeating jobs, no action is necessary. CA ARCserve Backup runs the next job in the backup cycle.
- For a non-repeating Custom job, reschedule the job manually.
- If a time out is not specified, a UNIX error code is attached to the end of this error message. Check the error code for more information.
