Export an Audit Log

CA ARCserve Backup lets you export all audit records or selected audit records to a text file.

To export an audit log

  1. Open the Job Status Manager.
  2. From the domains directory tree, click the CA ARCserve Backup primary server containing the audit log that you want to export.

    The Job Queue, Job History, Activity Log, and Audit Log tabs appear.

  3. Click the Audit Log tab.

    The Properties panel displays the audit log.

  4. Select the audit log that you want to export.

    Right-click the audit log that you want to export and click Export to a File on the pop-up menu.

    The Save As dialog opens.

  5. In the Save As dialog, specify a location and file name for the file.

    Click Save.

    The audit log is exported to a text file.
