Agent for Open Files - Management

If the Agent for Open Files is installed on any of your computers, you can manage the Agent for Open Files Engine directly from the Backup Manager.

1. In the Backup Manager, click the Source tab and select a server listed in the left pane.
2. If this server has the Agent for Open Files Engine installed, right-click the computer and select from the following menu items or click these items in the Additional Information pane, located in the lower-right corner of the window:
   • Configure Open File Agent--This displays the Agent for Open Files Configuration screen. From here, you can set various global settings for the Agent for Open Files on the selected computer.
   • View Open File Agent Status--This displays the Agent for Open Files Status screen. This shows which files and groups the Agent for Open Files is currently processing on the selected computer.
   • View Open File Agent Log File--This displays the Log File Viewer screen. This shows the log file for the selected computer.
