Media Records Window

The Media Records window displays information about the media used with CA ARCserve Backup. This includes information about formatting, how much the media has been used since it was put into service, and number of errors (if any) that have occurred while CA ARCserve Backup was using the media.

Each time media is formatted by CA ARCserve Backup, a new record is added to the database.

Viewing details about media

You can view additional details about media. This includes how many errors CA ARCserve Backup has encountered while reading from or writing to the media, how much data (total) has been written to the media, and the number of read and write passes CA ARCserve Backup has made over the media. In addition, you can see a list of the sessions that were created on the media and a list of files backed up for each session.
