Configure the Agent for Multiple Instances

The CA ARCserve Backup Agent for Sybase allows you to back up and restore multiple instances of Sybase Adaptive Server.

To configure the agent to support backup or restore of multiple Sybase instances, follow these steps:

1. Select Start, Programs, CA, ARCserve Backup Agents, Sybase Agent configuration.
2. Enter the requested information in the fields provided for each unique instance of Sybase Adaptive Server operation.
3. Click Finish.

The agent is configured to support backup or restore of multiple Sybase instances.
