Pre/Post Options (NetWare)

These options allow you to run a command on your machine before the job starts, after it is completed, or both.

For example, you may want to use the Pre option to stop the application that owns the data you are about to backup, and then use the Post option to start it again.

Note: These options only supports loading NLMs or executing NCF files on the local server.

The available pre/post options are:

• Run Command Before Job--Enter the path to, and the name of, the file to be executed on the machine before the job takes starts.
• Delay--Enter the time to wait before the job starts. This period of time gives the application or file specified in the Run Command Before Job field time to process.
• Run Command After Job--Enter the path to, and name of, the file to be executed on the machine after the job is completed.
