Log File Viewer
The Log File Viewer screen shows the selected CA ARCserve Backup Agent for Open Files log file (by default, the current log file). Each log entry shows the agent activity corresponding to a single file or group of files.
You can scroll forward and backward through the entries. You can select lines in the display and copy the selection to the Windows clipboard.
If you are viewing the current active log file on a Windows system, you can see the agent events in real time simply by scrolling to the end of the log file. New entries appear automatically as they are generated on the server.
Current Log File
This status display shows the full name of the log file currently being viewed.
Current Button
Click to view the current log file on the selected server.
Previous Button
Click to choose another log file on the selected server. You are presented with a list of log files from the current log file directory, each of which is shown as a range of dates/times. You can remove selected log files (except for the current one) by clicking the Delete button for each one you want to delete.
