Backup Options for the Enterprise Option for Advantage Ingres

The following backup options are available for the Enterprise Option for Advantage Ingres:

• Purge Log--Delete all previous disk-based journal files.
• Purge Checkpoint--Delete all previous disk-based checkpoint files.
• Verbose Mode--Instructs Advantage Ingres to provide extended feedback during the checkpoint and rollforward operations. The agent stores this feedback in .OUT files, which are located in the primary Enterprise Option for Advantage Ingres directory.

Note: If the selected database object does not allow a certain option, the option is unavailable.
