authsetup - Usage

The authsetup command contains options that are used to define actions to follow when setting up the CA ARCserve Backup authentication database.

The authsetup command includes the following options:

• -p <password>

  Specify the password for 'caroot'. This is required. To set an empty password, use authsetup -p "".

• -s

  This is silent mode for this utility. Use this if you do not want to see message box notifications if some internal operations fail.

• -d

  Use this to create debug logs for each authsetup usage.
