Configure IBM 3494 Volumes

The Volume Configuration is an easy way to add Volumes to your CA ARCserve Backup server. To configure the volumes controlled by the CA ARCserve Backup server, perform the following procedure:

Note: You only need to configure the volumes if you wish to change the configuration at this time.

1. The Volume Configuration screen displays with the volumes IBM 3494 Library Option located in the Library.
2. Right-click any volume to display a menu. From this menu, you can choose to:
   • Assign the volume to the CA ARCserve Backup server.
   • Unassign the volume from the CA ARCserve Backup server.
