rename (Volume Management)--Rename an Application User Volume

Rename a volume in an application

Syntax

volume rename name new-name  

Parameters

name

Name of the existing volume to rename. Name must specify an application user volume or global volume.

new-name

New name for the volume. New-name is simply the new volume name, application user volume, or a global volume.

Examples

volume rename sugarcrm:data data2

rename application user volume

Notes:

• A specification of the naming convention for CA 3Tera AppLogic entities can be found here.
• If the volume is currently in use, this command will fail.
• Only maintainers may rename a global read-only volumes.
