Roscoes'' XTPM Interface module must be defined with EXECKEY(USER) DATALOCATION(BELOW) Example: * DEFINE PROGRAM(ROSXCICS) GROUP(ROSCOE) DESCRIPTION(ROSCOE XTPM INTERFACE ) LANGUAGE(ASSEMBLER) EXECKEY(USER) DATALOCATION(BELOW) *
Fix Category: CA.TargetSystem-RequiredService.z/OS.V2R4
The following CA Roscoe r6.0 solution(S) and all prerequisites are needed for the proper operation of a CA Roscoe system on a Z/OS 2.4 operating system: PRE ( QO94870 QO99051 RO02522 RO02554 RO04636 RO12867 RO22957 RO61518 RO64292 RO65153 RO84269 RO86924 RO86928 RO91863 RO92195 RO93745 RO97790 RO99931 SO05092 SO07467 ) Plus: RO09914 RO14017, RO35430, RO91818, RO91908, RO93382, RO95331 RO99272, SO09943, SO11316. BTSO users should apply SO07345. HARDWARE/DEVICE COMPATIBILITY: Sites that utilize datasets with more than 99999 tracks should review and apply solution QO86150 for information on tracks being displayed. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS/NOTES: The new system product level in ROSGBL for MVSSPL and JESSPL is ZOS240. NOTE: After applying the solution(s) to support z/OS 2.4 clients must reassemble the ROSGBL and, if EXIT5 used, ROSJES2XT. Refer to the CA Roscoe 6.0 MVS System Reference Guide for more informat The CA Roscoe startup message, ROS148I, will reflect the macro date of 09/03/19 or later. NOTE: This fix is downward compatible with previous z/OS supported releases and can be applied on pre z/OS 2.4 Systems.
Fix Category: CA.TargetSystem-RequiredService.z/OS.V2R5
The following CA Roscoe r6.0 solution(S) and all prerequisites are needed for the proper operation of a CA Roscoe system on a Z/OS 2.5 operating system: PRE ( QO94870 QO99051 RO02522 RO02554 RO04636 RO12867 RO22957 RO61518 RO64292 RO65153 RO84269 RO86924 RO86928 RO91863 RO92195 RO93745 RO97790 RO99931 SO05092 SO07467 LU02468 LU10743 ) Plus: RO09914 RO14017, RO35430, RO91818, RO91908, RO93382, RO95331 RO99272, SO09943, SO11316. BTSO users should apply SO07345. HARDWARE/DEVICE COMPATIBILITY: Sites that utilize datasets with more than 99999 tracks should review and apply solution QO86150 for information on tracks being displayed. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS/NOTES: The new system product level in ROSGBL for MVSSPL and JESSPL is ZOS250. NOTE: After applying the solution(s) to support z/OS 2.5 clients must reassemble the ROSGBL and, if EXIT5 used, ROSJES2XT. Refer to the CA Roscoe 6.0 MVS System Reference Guide for more informat The CA Roscoe startup message, ROS148I, will reflect the macro date of 08/16/21 or later. NOTE: This fix is downward compatible with previous z/OS supported releases and can be applied on pre z/OS 2.5 Systems. A reassembly of the ROSGBL for lower levels is required after applying fix for z/os 2.5 support

LU10743 The following CA Roscoe r6.0 solution(S) and all prerequisites are needed for the proper operation of a CA Roscoe system on a Z/OS 3.1 operating system: PRE ( LU02468 LU07616 QO94870 QO99051 RO02522 RO02554 RO04636 RO12867 RO22957 RO61518 RO64292 RO65153 RO77806 RO82728 RO84001 RO84269 RO86924 RO86928 RO89680 RO91863 RO92195 RO93745 RO97790 RO99931 SO04056 SO05092 SO07467 SO08552 SO09943 LU10743 ) Plus: RO09914 RO14017, RO35430, RO91818, RO91908, RO93382, RO95331 RO99272, SO09943, SO11316. BTSO users should apply SO07345. HARDWARE/DEVICE COMPATIBILITY: Sites that utilize datasets with more than 99999 tracks should review and apply solution QO86150 for information on tracks being displayed. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS/NOTES: The new system product level in ROSGBL MVSSPL=ZOS310 AND JESSPL=ZOS310. NOTE: This solution is ONLY for sites running z/OS 2.1 and above. Any site still running ROSCOE on any system lower than z/OS 2.1 should not apply this solution. NOTE: After applying the solution(s) to support z/OS 2.5 clients must reassemble the ROSGBL and, if EXIT5 used, ROSJES2XT. Refer to the CA Roscoe 6.0 MVS System Reference Guide for more informa The CA Roscoe startup message, ROS148I, will reflect the macro date of 07/10/23 or later. NOTE: This fix is backward compatible with Z/OS supported releases and can be applied on pre z/OS 3.1 systems. This should not be applied on any z/OS system at 2.1 or lower. An reassembly of the ROSGBL with older z/os level, above 2.1, is still required after applying this maintenance.
